Your ArmGuard package may include the device, charging cradle, charging cable, power adapter, and a quick start guide. Package contents may vary by device model.
Yes. Before relying on your device, make sure your account is activated, emergency contacts are entered correctly, the device has been tested, and it shows a charge and cellular signal. If unsure, please contact ArmGuard Support.
No. ArmGuard uses built-in cellular service and does not require Wi-Fi for emergency monitoring.
We recommend testing your device at least once per month to confirm the SOS button, monitoring connection, contacts, and charging are all working properly.
Press and hold the Home Button until the emergency countdown begins. A live specialist is contacted, attempts to speak with you, and emergency contacts and/or services may be notified as needed.
Don’t worry. If the countdown appears, tap Cancel before it reaches zero. If you’re already connected, just tell the specialist you pressed it by mistake — they will understand.
Yes, but fall detection must be enabled from the ArmGuard Portal. When enabled, it may automatically start an alert when a significant fall is detected. No technology detects every fall, so always press SOS when you can.
A phone may not always be nearby or easy to use during an emergency. ArmGuard offers one-touch SOS, GPS location, built-in cellular connectivity, and 24/7 professional monitoring in a wearable form.
Emergency contacts may receive notifications by text message, email, and location information when available. Contacts are added during setup and can be updated as needed.
Yes — approved contacts can text Find [Wearer’s First Name] to 855-999-3224, using the wearer’s first name (the Wearer Name on the ArmGuard account), from a number listed as an approved contact. If the device is on and has signal, a reply may include the approximate location and a map link.
Log in to the ArmGuard Portal and update the contacts for each device. Keeping this information current is very important — if you need help, contact ArmGuard Support.
Plug the charging cable into the power adapter, plug the adapter into a wall outlet, then place the device on the charging cradle and confirm it shows charging. For best results, charge nightly.
Battery life depends on signal strength, GPS usage, activity, temperature, and settings. Depending on usage, it may last between 2 and 7 days. We recommend charging nightly.
ArmGuard may provide low battery alerts through the device or connected notification settings. Place it on the charger as soon as possible if the battery is low.
Charge nightly, avoid letting the battery run completely dead, avoid extreme heat or cold, and if storing long-term, power off and recharge every 2–3 months.
ArmGuard is water-resistant with an IPX7 rating. You may wear it while washing your hands or showering, but we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to soaps, lotions, and perfumes, which may affect water seals over time.
No. We don’t recommend swimming, diving, water skiing, bathing, hot tubs, or water sports while wearing the device, as extended exposure to chlorine or saltwater may damage it.
ArmGuard devices meet applicable safety standards. To reduce irritation risk, avoid wearing the strap too tightly, allow air circulation, and keep skin clean and dry. Stop use and contact your healthcare provider if irritation occurs.
